Review: Heaven's Cry
Heaven's Cry by Charmaine Galloway
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Heaven's Cry is a reflection of a lot of teenagers in one way or the other.
Heaven is a young lady who not only struggles with being tormented by her peers but also with her sexuality. Since her parents are heavily involved in the church, she has no one to turn to. All Heaven needed was someone to listen.. to hear her cry. She knows if she comes out of the closet, her parents would probably perform an exorcism on her. The teenage girl she has a crush on finally comes around and they do the unthinkable. Little does Heaven know, she has been set up.
With her feelings hurt and then being expelled from school, Heaven is force to let those around her know what is going on. Will her parents forgive her? Will her love interest find her way back to Heaven? Will anyone hear Heaven's Cry?
This read is truly an eye opener and left me with a range of emotions. One click this story. You will not be disappointed.
