Review: With Friends Like These, Who Needs Enemies?
With Friends Like These, Who Needs Enemies? by Kennedee Devoe
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
We all have or had those ride or die chicks who we grew up with. They know your deepest secrets and at the time, you thought they would always be there for you.
Now fast forward to the reality of it all once adulthood comes into play, in comes Kennedee’s latest release, With Friends Like These, Who Needs Enemies. This time, the author takes us on her journey with her ride or die chicks: Chloe, Sage, Emil and Talia.
As Kennedee soon finds out, everyone who says they are for you are really the ones sharpening the knife to execute their plan of betrayal and revenge. Friendships are tested to the very end and some are cut lose with that same sharpened knife. This books deals with the experiences many of us have gone through with our girlfriends. Kennedee brings it to you straight no chaser and yes, she has her own fill of drama once again.
I would like to applaud the author on her writing style, great storyline and well developed characters. The cover fits this book to a tee!
