Review: She's Got Her Own

She's Got Her Own
She's Got Her Own by Kem M Smith

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

She’s Got Her Own is a five star urban Christian read that focus on the ups and downs of a couple who each is trying to find their own way. Brian Franklin is a man who is very involved in the church and believes that his wife, Sharay should be home taking care of the children and not working. Sharay feels she would be more productive in her current career and refuses to bow down to her husband’s wishes. In one day, rash decisions are made and Sharay is doing the one thing she never thought she would. Brian is happy but Sharay is struggling. As we all know, when momma is not happy, no one is happy and this hold true in the Franklin household as well.
Secrets are revealed, feelings are hurt and their lives will be changed forever.

The author, Kem M Smith does an exemplary job of developing the Brian and Sharay’s character. I can feel the emotions each of them have gone through. The plot is realistic as I personally know families who have gone through these trials. Great job Kem on this novel and I look forward to reading more of your works.
