Review: Just Can't Do Right

Just Can't Do Right Just Can't Do Right by Kennedee Devoe
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

In this 3rd book by Kennedee Devoe, we meet Gino Baptise, whose prison term brings about some strong lessons on infidelity, love and life. The author does a remarkable job of developing the character of Gino and the other men he meets in prison. Unlike the author's previous books, we get a strong insight into a male's perspective on relationships and why, sometimes, they do the things they do.

A thought provoking part of the story to me was when Kennedee was introduced into the book and the lessons she spoke of. If you have read her other books, you saw how she was a "loose cannon" but in this newest novel, you see how her experiences has shaped her into the woman she is today.

I would like to applaud the author on her growth in writing and as a person. It has been an interesting journey that she has taken readers on and I look forward to reading more of her works in the future.
