Review: Girlfriends Secrets

Girlfriends Secrets
Girlfriends Secrets by Charmaine Galloway

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Girlfriends. Secrets is a book every woman can relate to. We might even find a little of ourselves in this story of the journey of three best friends: Alisha, Tyra and Brittany. At one point or another, we have kept secrets from our best friends. This novel takes a look at the three dangerous paths and life changing decisions each of these women have to make.

Brittany had everything she could ever want materially due to her doctor husband. All the money in the world can not buy you love and affection from your spouse. After repeated lonely nights, Brittany falls into the arms of another man. A careless mistake will now change her life as she now knows it. Will her husband, Robert be able to forgive her? Will he help his wife to get through the situation or leave her to fend for herself?

Alisha was a single mom with a sorry boyfriend. No matter what she did, he was not satisfied. Being in a relationship with this man put her and her children's lives at risk. When is enough...enough? Will she be able to get out of the situation before the damage becomes irreversible?

Tyra turned her life over to God after a promiscuous past. The only problem is she is walking Bible now and believes she is better than everyone else. A phone call and some devastating news forces her past to haunt her. Can she hide from this life altering news? Will her friends find out and turn their back on her?

Girlfriends. Secrets is an urban Christian novel with many twists and turns. The author has done a great job with character development of the three women and their everyday lives. The plot is realistic and relatable.

Congrats to Charmaine Galloway on her new novel. One click this relatable novel today. You will not be disappointed. I look forward to reading part 2.
