Review: Niya 2: Dreamer's Paradise

Niya 2: Dreamer's Paradise
Niya 2: Dreamer's Paradise by Fabiola Joseph

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Sometimes you can show the one you love everything you have inside of you and it is still not good enough.

Niya 2 picks up right where part 1 left off. Jamilla is still unsure of her sexual preference and frankly, Niya is getting tired of it. After persistence from Niya’s grandmother, Niya and Jamilla packs up and start anew. Niya thinks with Jamilla away from everything common, she would finally open up and submit to her. How wrong was she? As the saying goes, what one won’t do, another will. When a new girl comes on the scene…things take a turn. Will Jamilla finally open up and allow Niya in? Will Niya move on? You have to one-click to see where this new adventure takes you.

The author has once again brought readers into an emotional tale of passion, love and heartache. Ms. Joseph has developed the characters even more so that any reader, regardless of their sexual preference, can relate to the heartache that is being suffered. At times, you will find yourself ready to smack Jamilla and other times, ready to smack Niya. The story ended in a way that you know there will be a part 3. I just hope Jamilla realizes what she has in Niya before she is gone.
